The Company
Nautical Water Italy emerges from a solid company in Italy. The idea is to bring from other fields and markets the knowledge and experience, developed over the years. In 2003 Ecoplus, “ the mother company”, was born in San Lazzaro di Savena, near the city of Bologna. Ecoplus had the chance to grow and scale up thanks to the constant research and scientific methods – used to brevets – and in order to create unique products for clients who didn’t know they needed them. A challenge that is still pursued in Ecoplus.
In twenty years of experience the values never changed.
Welfare for people
We make our products responsive and efficient to the people’s needs to feel well and healthy. Wellness and health is one of the main reasons we started our activity for Ecoplus in the medical disinfection field. It is in fact in the medical field that is more necessary, above all, to assure and preserve everybody’s health, patients and operators, by eliminating the biofilm, bacteria, virus and spores. All of these are present not only in the water, also in the air under the form of “aerosol”. We wanted to bring this purpose to Nautical Water Italy. NWI is indeed a range of products for nautical enthusiasts because there’s no better place to enjoy our own wellness than by observing an unforgettable sunset on board.
Sustainability for the environment
Protection of the environment, conservation of natural resources and heritages and their habitat, which then lead to respect for the person himself and his health, are some of the basic principles underlying SUSTAINABILITY. These are concepts that are very relevant today.
But 20 years ago, when we made them our own, they were not so common in companies. Concepts that are constantly evolving today were already VALUES for us. And we have never abandoned them.

Security for all
On-board safety and security conditions are perhaps not given due consideration. Often safety is only thought of as preventing accidents or avoiding breakdowns while sailing. And auxiliary devices, onboard products in general, are neglected.
The safety and certification of our devices are inescapably guaranteed. They always have been.
